The Position
In this role you are in charge of the delivery of services handling for Vehicle Communication. This includes tight collaboration with our MNO team that faces the Mobile Network Operator partners, NetOps & Messaging teams as well as continuous sync with GTT Design Engineering that are responsible for the telecom onboard units. To achieve this, you will work very closely with all parts of the organization within Connected Solutions, as well as collaborating with the GTT BASC organization. There will also be a need to travel occasionally.
The role requires an agile and networked based leadership style, open mindset and passion to deliver value for our customers. The position reports to Director Core Services and is a member of the Core Services management team. In this role, you will:
• Manage all people in your team in terms of recruitment, retention, competence development, salary setting etc.
• Build, develop and lead high performing teams.
• Act as Product Owner for Vehicle Communication - which is about securing communication between back-office and the connected Volvo Group products.
• Own and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Vehicle Communication product area.
• Lead the development and execution of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Vehicle Communication domain, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
• Be accountable for deliveries and priority setting of the backlog
• Drive continuous improvements in the platform to improve customer's business and operations, as well as delivering a cost-efficient platform.
• Collaborate with functions within Connected Solutions as well as relevant teams within the Volvo Group overall to enable successful execution.

We also believe that you have:
• Leadership experience and proven track record of leading teams in a global organization.
• Experience from leading software engineering and agile development, e.g. SAFe.
• A strong business acumen with a focus on maximizing return on investment and optimize return on investment and drive strategic value.
• Experience from automotive industry and preferably also connected vehicles in order to understand the market, product, business and any constraints involved.
• A university degree in software engineering, computer science or similar as the basis for your career.
• Fluent skills in English - both written and spoken.
