We are dedicated to electrify our brand in a broad effort with Plug-In Hybrids (PHEVs) and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs). At the engineering department of Propulsion Energy Systems, we are responsible for design and delivery of the technical solutions of Battery Systems and Power Supply for electrified vehicles. We cover the complete product development of mechanical, electrical and software components.
As Manager for System A&V Charging and DC/DC, 97455, You will lead and support the cross functional work within System Analysis & verification for charging systems & DC/DC. You will also be supporting forthcoming fully agile teams that is responsible for designing, developing, and verifying solutions for charging systems & DC/DC. Your focus will be to inspire all team members to evolve and achieve their professional goals as well as building high functioning and good-spirited team.
What you'll do
* You will be responsible for the overall management and long-term reliability of the Group's development and results. Your responsibilities will include the implementation of agile methodologies and driving competence development to assure the right competence is in line with long term technical strategies while working closely with related Scrum Masters and Product Owners to understand the teams' situations and needs. You will also be responsible for the employees work environment and for all HR employee related processes. You will prepare and drive long term technical strategies and set objectives accordingly in close collaboration with the POs. You will recruit highly skilled individuals in line with identified capability and competence needs. Stay updated and drive continuous improvements related to my responsibilities (e.g. tools, IT, flow, ways of working) while guiding and coaching in agile development.
You and your skills
* Master degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or several years of relevant experience
* Have minimum 5 years' experience of development work in the automotive industry, knowledge of VCC development process in general and the electrical development process.
* Knowledge of testing, electrical architecture, High Voltage Systems & Electrical Safety
* Knowledge in agile methodologies
* Management experience is meritorious
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
