Manager Segment Market Communications, Vehicle Service Market (VSM)
Position Responsibility
• Work closely with the European VSM sales & product development team to develop long term communication strategy and annual tactical plans that support the Business Unit/Segment marketing strategy
• Coordinate and align activities and material with other regions outside of Europe, run selected global projects
• Responsible for staff hiring, training and development, including performance reviews and individual development plans for all direct reports
• Manages his/her team to direct the resource allocation and assignments in order to meet the expressed needs of the assigned Business Unit
• Administer the approval process between technical, legal, marketing and communications for all external market communications
• Assure adherence to SKF policies, instructions, guidelines and standards for all operations
• Coordinate and manage cost efficient production services for SKF, utilizing internal and external capabilities
• Manage the inventory of SKF literature reprinting
• Coordinate and participate in international industry exhibitions and provide exhibit services to local markets
• Manage the communications budget for VSM Europe and provide financial accountability for all SKF activities including the purchasing, invoicing and administration of these activities
• Organize quarterly review meetings with VSM Europe

• Highly self-motivated and driven individual with teamwork skills necessary for effectiveness in a matrix organization
• Ability to actively listen to customers and respond quickly to their requests
• Commitment to continuous improvement through training and development
