In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in developing a new generation of large-scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon-free society, and this is your opportunity to take part in leading those efforts and help drive us to success.
The Prototype Operation Manager is responsible to execute prototype builds and managing Prototype Operations team. This includes planning - setting up a operational team, hiring required people, being responsible for the corresponding budget - and execution - delivering volumes and quality, ensuring safety and compliance, driving CIP, lean production and 5S - in a prototype environment.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Accountable for building, developing and leading the Operational team for our prototyping facility in Tomteboda
Deliver prototype builds in terms of volume, quality and timing
Influence the equipment and process planning for the prototype lines/Stations
Ensure safe operations as described in NV safety procedures, SOP/WI and according to legislation.
Ensure adequate staffing of the process area on daily basis and for weekend work
Lead operations meeting with logistics, quality, supply chain and other stakeholders and drive all production impacting issues
We believe that you have:
Qualifications/education/experience
M.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent degree
Experience in leading and developing a Operational/ Production team
Specific skills:
Fluency in English
Strong leadership skills and proven record of leading a operational team
Strong skills as communicator, both internally as well as externally
Personal success factors:
Strong problem-solving skills
Highly execution-oriented
Proactive and goes beyond expectations
Has a "can-do" attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit
Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines, excellent time management skills
Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as independently
