We are looking for a curious and courageous Manager for our Project management team. You will work together with our current project managers and take on the task to organize structural, organizational and administrative work around project and portfolio management for all projects within the Vara manufacturing operation. We believe you have a natural interest in leadership and the capability to improve organization, routines and processes.
We will reinforce the organization with this role in order to speed up the transformation of our organization into the future. You will drive improvement initiatives within the Engineering and Project Management field related to product development, product introduction and Pre Preparation Engineering. As part of your role you will take on and run own projects. You will work both Operative and strategically and create routines and build competence to develop stabile processes.
You hold a Technical-related university degree and have work experience in our industry related to engineering, production and project management. You are passionate about people and an experienced leader who knows how to bring out the best out of your team. You love challenges and you possess the ability to see opportunities where others see obstacles. You understand organizational dynamics and that business success originates from respectful relationships, continuous learning and genuine trust. You are self-driven, analytical and a doer who works in a structured way. You are curious about change and would like to play a key role in the transformation towards the future for the Volvo Penta Vara Operations.
You will be reporting to Manager Engineering and be part of the Vara Engineering mgmt. team where you are expected to take an active part in developing the organization and the collaboration with other functions inside Volvo to create a solid but flexible process.
