Responsibilities
We are looking for a manager to lead our marine project engineering department. The department is responsible for order to delivery of marine tank gauging systems to our customers. After the contract is signed, the project engineers manage the technical documentation sent over to customers, handle technical discussions with customers, create documentation to sub suppliers and operations, lead factory acceptance tests of the equipment and support the commissioning engineers on site. The team also handles project unique software for each delivery.
The Manager Project Engineering leads a team of currently 9 persons. The team is highly experienced and know the work processes and products very well. The person holding this position is a member of the marine leadership team in Sweden. The job requires some travel within Europe and to Asia to work with global initiatives together with peers in other marine sites and visit customers.
We are looking for an experienced manager, with a background of leading people and projects in an international environment. The person should have a strong customer focus and be able to provide direction and leadership to the team.
Qualifications
Experience from leading projects
Experience from line management
Engineering university degree
Fluent in English and Swedish
Desired additional merits are PMP certification and knowledge of marine and offshore markets.
