We are looking for a Manager Primavera Competence Centre to be based in Stockholm
Rail Control Solutions (RCS) is a world leader in developing, engineering and installing rail control and signalling safety systems, products and services.
RCS enables the safe and efficient operation of rail networks and trains.
Your Role
As Manager for our Primavera Competence Centre you will spearhead the implementation of Primavera within RCS globally. You will, together with a Primavera Specialist, drive the use of Primavera for scheduling by facilitating trainings and communication programs, and by coaching and supporting Project Managers to ensure improvements of estimates and robustness of plans.
You will have a close cooperation with the key user network to maintain and develop the interface to the various departments, and have a close cooperation with the Project Management Office in order to ensure that Primavera delivers the output that the various stakeholders expect and require.
You are to work proactively to improve the quality of scheduling to raise the level of performance and the quality of data to ensure best-practice scheduling within RCS.
Some of your main tasks will be:
To improve accuracy of project Planning and Progress Control, e.g. accuracy of delivery dates, by improving estimates and implementing risk models into schedules in pilot key projects
To analyze future competence and capacity needs based on Strategic plans.
To evaluate resource availability on a mid-term perspective (6-18 months)
Develop and support your team and the Key Users throughout RCS on an ongoing basis as part of the wider Primavera team
To act as back-up for the regional Primavera users in direct scheduling activities.
Your Experience and Qualifications
You are educated to degree level and are fluent in English. You need to have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with Primavera, preferably combined with a number of years of experience in scheduling and control of large projects.
You need to have experience from working in a large organization in an international environment. You have a successful track record of stakeholder management preferably from a line manager position, or from a Project Manager role.
Your seniority and your expertise make you comfortable in guiding senior management. You are capable of inspiring and motivating others, and you have a good understanding of cultural differences and local drivers.
