The Platform Department is part of the IT Services organization that also include services such as End User & Collaboration Services, Enterprise Information Services, Test and Development Services.
Platform Services is responsible for core IT Infrastructure services divided into 3 teams; Hosting, Network&DC and Middleware services. The teams deliver services such as server, storage, databases, security, identity and access management, network, WAN, datacenter, monitoring, application integration and application server.
The Middleware Services Group is responsible for application integration and application servers. Application integration are delivering services via MQ, VCOM, Security Gateway and EDI platforms. Application servers are delivering services via WebSphere Application Server (WAS) platform.
The team is responsible for the governance, quality, technical and financial aspects of the services. The maintenance and operation of the services is outsourced to a supplier. The Middleware team consist of Service Owners, Service Managers and technical SME.
We are now looking for a Manager for the Middleware Services.
Main responsibilities
As manager for the team, you are overall accountable for the services delivered by the team. It should meet expectations on functionality, quality and budget. You will be responsible to inspire and develop the employees and to build an effective and well working team. You will be responsible to drive transformation of the team and of the services.
Required qualifications
* Documented leadership skills from previous position as IT manager
* BSc or equivalent qualification in relevant discipline
* Good communication skills
Meritorious
* Documented experience working with the areas Application Integration and/or WAS
Personal qualities
