hela Sverige Scandic IT is looking for an experienced Manager for the Project Management Office, managing all Digital and IT projects and initiatives. Scandic is on a journey to adapt and adopt to modern ways of working and you have the ability to participate on this journey.
As Manager IT PMO you manage the Digital & IT Project portfolio and a team of approximately 5-8 Project Managers (employees and consultants).
To be successful in this role it is important that you are a business minded person with strong strategic planning, leadership and communication skills. We expect you to be structured, analytical, accountable, take own initiatives and a creative person with strong integrity.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Being the link between the projects and the Scandic's top Management, ensuring the right projects are run according to the strategy, and that projects have the right, resources, tools and prerequisites to deliver successfully.
- Close relationship with key stakeholders within the business
- Continuous follow up and secure Project Portfolio Status and financials
- Manage Project Portfolio Money out plan/forecasting, funds requests and accruals
- Coach and manage Project Managers to improve and secure work according to defined project model, processes and frameworks
- Manage and resource allocate all IT Project Managers
- Ensure good cooperation and transparency between IT and other departments, to ensure lessons learned and use findings to improve the way Scandic do project management
- Continuously develop PMO in regards to business need (ways of working, KPI's, tools etc.)
- Run the weekly project stand-up
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of relevant working experience;
- Project management
- Management consulting
- Management/Leadership/Leader
- PMO development experience
- Experienced in at least one Project Management model
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
Desirable:
- Agile experience
- IT Service Management experience
