hela Sverige As part of the Global center of expertise Compensation & Benefits, the new Manager International Mobility Tax ("IMT") will strengthen the team and provide deep technical expertise in the area of cross border employment and tax and social security aspects connected thereto. As a result of transfer pricing and BEPS developments, the increasing complexities in the area of personal income tax and social security need careful attention. In collaboration with several of the Volvo Group functions, the Manager IMT will ensure that Volvo Group companies understand how to be compliant with their filing- and payment obligations; our employees understand their tax position and know that they have the right social security coverage.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Vice President Compensation & Benefits, as the Manager IMT you will:
• Provide expertise in the area of personal income tax and social security to the travel area as well as International Mobility area. You will be recognized as subject matter expert within and outside home organization, are the go-to person for complex analysis and recommendations. You actively work with high level stakeholders assuring process efficiency
• In the International Mobility area, provide expertise for the various types of assignments (long- and short term, commuter, etc.) and consultative advice for other cross boarder transfers. You will support in the review of our global policies and in the development and maintenance of our processes. Where needed or possible, initiate, improve and develop system functionalities of global relevance
• Provide tax support for the Long Term Incentive Plan for Top Executives in the Volvo Group, including both plan design and operational issues
• Ensure training and education for centers of expertise in the countries in the area of cross border employment, support in creation and implementation of country policies. But also work with the International Mobility Services team (IMS) to ensure relevant training and education
• Proactively increase own expertise, utilizing full spectrum of available sources: work shadowing, domain literature, internet, mentoring, networking, formal trainings, formal education, projects, coaching etc.
• In the Travel area, support in the coordination of the various travel related processes for business travellers, working with Indirect Purchasing, Group Finance, Group Insurance, Group Legal (risk) and other areas upon need basis
• Initiate and execute activities focused on increasing efficiency in the various processes. Actively develop the processes together with appropriate stakeholders to secure the efficient resource utilization within HR Services and the various businesses of the Volvo Group
• Ensure that country centers of expertise and IMS can escalate cases and provides assistance in judgment-based non-standard case analysis
• Provide support in vendor selection and relations with suppliers within applicable area(s)
Languages:

Education, skills and experience
You have an university degree in the area of (tax) law, knowledge of (international) social security legislation or proven relevant working experience in these expertise areas.
You have extensive international mobility experience in a large global organization, whether Big4 or a multinational company and preferably also HR experience in an international environment.
You have the knowledge and know how to successfully plan and execute large international and complex projects, understanding that stakeholder management is important to achieve change.
Analytical skills, combined with an ability to translate this into practical operational steps, are important.
Simple, modern communication will help to get all the important messages across.
