hela Sverige AkzoNobel Pulp and Performance Chemicals (PPC) are looking for a Business Unit Manager Internal Control & Compliance. Key to the ongoing success of PPC is our commitment to the highest standards of Internal Control and Compliance. Within this context, your mission in this role is to assume responsibility for supporting senior management in the mitigation of operational and compliance risks by reviewing and improving existing process controls and implementing effective revisions or additions. You will be working in our Business Unit headcounters in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Main tasks
• Ensure that BU specific Internal Control Processes are compliant with company policies and legal requirements
• Develop and manage follow up investigation on internal/external audit and compliance issues
• Support local management with implementing process controls and an effective control environment.
• Deliver the In Control statement in AkzoNobel's annual report.
• Support the PPC Managing Director and PPC Director Control in the adequate design of the Internal Controls in their operating unit
Additional information
This is a permanent position on a full time basis located in Gothenburg, Lillabommen. The BU Manager Internal Control & Compliance reports to the Business Area Specialty Chemicals Manager Internal Control & Compliance.

To apply for this position you should possess all the following attributes:
• Masters degree in Accounting, Finance & Control or a related field;
• 8-10 years experience in Internal/ External Audit and/or Internal Control related positions;
• Knowledge of financial standards and familiar with COSO framework;
• Excellent customer service skills;
• Good communication skills including a high level of written and spoken English;
• Willing and able to travel.
