JOB DESCRIPTION
The Corporate Marketing department is a central resource overall responsible for the global marketing strategy and planning as well as to develop tools and concepts that are used and implemented by the sales regions, as well as our partners. Product Marketing, Partner Marketing, Training and Technical Writing as well as Branding, Corporate Communication, Marketing Communications and PR & Events all sub units within the department.
The Academy team is responsible for the Axis Communications Academy – a program to train our partners and Axis' employees. The Academy includes different trainings both classroom and web based formats and a certification program. Within the Academy team lies the responsibility for the development of different tools to be used by the partners when building surveillance solutions using our products.
The Technical Writing team is responsible for authoring, designing, maintaining and updating accurate, consistent and user friendly technical user documentation for Axis network products.
As Manager you have the overall responsibility for the operational work within the unit. This includes:
For the Academy team
• Further develop the concept Axis Communications Academy
by expanding the partner offerings together with the team
• Drive and improve the process for implementation of Academy
in the regions together with the regional training responsible
• Drive and coordinate the development of new tools
• Manage the Academy team
For the Technical writer team in collaboration with the Manager for Technical Writers
• Furtherdevelop thestrategy for theTechnical documentation
• Continue to improve the processes and tools for the team
• Handle resource issues
For both teams
• Develop the teams to maximum synergies for the benefits of
the customer friendly technical communication
The position requires some travel, up to 40 days a year.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a driven manager with an university background in science or business administration and 10-15 years working experience. You have documented management skills and experience from manager position in an international company. Experience within adult training in a technical environment is considered as a merit.
You have excellent communication skills and are organized and structured with the ability to handle stress. You have good understanding for business and have the talent to see the big picture in various situations.
