General role description
Gunnebo Lifting is looking for a business minded Logistic Manager ? a key role in our organization. You will be responsible for three departments; Supply planning, Ware house management and Customer service, all in all approximately 8 people. The position will be located in Gothenburg, in connection to the recently established World Distribution Centre. You will be a part of the Lifting Operations management team and report to VP Operations Lifting. The main job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Overall responsibility for the Supply & Logistics function of Gunnebo Lifting.
• Lead the logistics organization i coordinating customer demand, inventory levels and replenishment of the central warehouse from in-house production and external suppliers of traded goods.
• Creating, implementing and running the processes for stock optimizing replenishment, sales and operations planning.
• Optimizing the availability of the product assortment defined by the Product management organization.
• Sales and Operation Planning process (SOP).
• Cooperation with the in-house production management.
• Interpreting the replenishment quantities suggested by the system (SAP R3) and create a replenishment plan for the in-house production and the external suppliers of traded goods.
• Cooperation with our third party logistics partner in their role as key enabler of our world distribution strategy.
• Ensure the company?s stock is properly managed, and that physical Stock-Take is made in strict adherence to company policies and instructions.
Requirements
• Good understanding of IT tools and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Reliability and structure in all internal and external relations.
• Prior Supply Chain experience.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Preferably a Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in logistics, engineering, business administration or similar.
• Last but not least a positive, ambitious and problem solving attitude!
