As a Logistics Advisor within EMEA Distribution you will assists with the production scheduling and logistics including ordering, supply and delivery for particular materials, products or products manufactured by an outsourced partner. You will use a computerised scheduling system, to plan and track status of materials. The position will be placed in Södertälje, Sweden.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversees the stock management processes in order to ensure that products are delivered in full, on time
• Manages the movement of stock between warehouse and internal/external customers
• Maintains inventory to ensure accuracy of stock records on Information Systems
• Ensures compliance to internal and external regulations and ensure all activities are carried in accordance with AstraZeneca procedures
• Provides users with sufficient knowledge to use system effectively within compliance rules. Raise and address compliance issues as they arise
• Identifies and support performance improvements
• Supports team members via flexibility and knowledge sharing
• Delivers reports from Information Systems on request
About you
• Higher education within relevant field
• Knowledge of supply chain management techniques
• Fluent English both spoken and written
Position requisites include:
• Professional qualification in distribution
• Experience of project work under tight deadlines and service levels across different technology bases
• Experience in SAP
Job Scope (About the Assignment)
The Logistic Advisor role is a consulting assignment. As a consultant, you have a position with Adecco Sweden. The opportunity will be a 9 month contract.
