Our product range includes tools for simplifying the work at TV stations, which means digitizing material, managing the media, video editing, transcoding between different media formats and archiving. Broadcasters all around the world use our products behind the scenes, including some well-known customers such as SVT, CNN, and BBC. We make sure that content meets expression.
Ardendo is a dynamic company on the go, with an open-minded and friendly atmosphere. It is important for us to keep the work challenging and fun at the same time. Ardendo is now expanding our current staff of 100 to meet the load from the constantly increasing number of customers. We are seeking a skilled Linux developer/Solution Architect with a deep knowledge of the Ardome Media Asset Management system. Since this position will be mainly towards our Russian customers, fluency in Russian, both spoken and written, is a must.
To be eligible you should have a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, or equivalent. You should be self- motivated as a person and skilled at transforming visions into working solutions. Because of our international market, a client oriented attitude and good communication skills in English and Russian are key factors to become a successful developer.
Skills required for this position:
• Master of Science in Computer science, or equivalent.
• Fluent in Russian, both spoken and written
• Deep knowledge of the Ardome Media Asset Management system, including customizations et.c.
• Software development in a Linux environment, using perl or equivalent.
• Knowledge about technologies such as FTP, SQL, XML, SOAP, HTML, Javascript, Ajax
• Design, test and documentation
Relevant experience as a system administrator is meriting. We would also like you to be a team player and appreciate good teamwork, be comfortable in technically complex environments and have a good level of English and Russian, both spoken and written.
