Your role
As we grow, we are looking for a Line manager to complete our team. You will be the fourth member of the management team for the Fuzes and Components department.
As a Line manager, you and your team will ensure that the products are delivered on time and to the right quality. Together with other sections you will further develop the processes for delivering fine mechanical components both internally and externally.
Safety and quality is a major and important focus area for this section. To run the section, close cooperation with the EHS functions, technology department, project management, quality and purchasing is required.
The main tasks:

Coaching your team towards agreed goals and strategies

Developing the skills and abilities of the teams and securing a good working environment within the unit

Achieving agreed results for your area of responsibility, including finances, quality, delivery capacity and efficiency
*
Suggest and lead improvement activities within the line function in order to meet our long term strategy

Line responsibility and work environment responsibility
In your area of responsibility, the following areas can be included over time:

Your profile
You enjoy working with other people. You are analytical and have good leadership skills. With great willingness and commitment, you will lead your employees to achieve expected results. Desired skills:

Experience from manufacturing industry, preferably with technical education

Experience in leading and coaching teams

Personal leadership drive, creativity and positive energy

Practical and theoretical knowledge in continuous improvement work. Such as Lean, 5S, Root cause analysis or other quality tools.

Good communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written
This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.
What you will be a part of
Dynamics is a business area within Saab that offers support weapons, missiles, torpedoes, sensors, unmanned underwater vehicles, camouflage systems and defense market training systems. The product portfolio also includes products for the civil security market, such as remote controlled underwater vessels for the oil industry and nuclear power plants.
You will be stationed at Björkborn's Industrial Area where production of missile and support products takes place. The entire production unit in Karlskoga consists of approx. 400 people. 70 people work in the Fuzes and Components department, of which 30 work in the Ignition system and 40 in the Fuze assembling section. The Fuze assembly consists of fine mechanical production lines.
