Position Description
At Olink Proteomics Analysis Service, we analyze customer samples with Olink products according to GCP. The workflow includes everything from receiving samples, preparing for experiments to delivering the data.
Olink continues to grow, and we are now looking to hire a LIMS Specialist to join a team of talented and highly skilled Quality Engineers, Sample Managers and Data Managers in the Quality Team. In this role, you will work closely with the Laboratory Engineers and other key personnel to implement new features and provide first-level support to our LIMS users. This position is based in our Uppsala headquarters, and you will be reporting to our Group Manager Quality.
Primary Responsibilities
• Prepare, review, and update SOPs, checklists, and procedure documentation related to LIMS and ensure that documentation meets quality standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent document management.
• Identify and analyze LIMS-related needs and improvements for the department.
• Serve as a liaison between laboratory staff and the IT department to convey needs and solutions in a coordinating role.
• Lead and participate in projects related to the development, implementation, and upgrade of LIMS within AS. Develop and conduct training for LIMS users when new features are developed.
• Provide continuous support and guidance to users.
• Configuration and basic development within the Labware platform of testing methods, workflows, and integration with external systems.
• Communicate bug and feature status to AS Management.
Qualifications/Skills
• At least a BSc within the field of Life Sciences (preferably within Biology), Bioinformatics, Engineering or similar.
• Experience of laboratory work and administration of a LIMS platform.
• You will be working closely with people across different functions within the organization and good communication skills in both English and Swedish is required.
• Experience of working in a regulated life science industry is a plus.
• Experience of Labware LIMS, SQL and database configuration, basic programming or scripting is also a plus.
