About the Assignment
We are looking for a Legal Counsel to provide hands-on, business-oriented legal support across tendering and project execution within a transmission-focused environment. You will work closely with Sales, Project Management and Contract Management, contributing to compliant and profitable project delivery and helping manage legal risk throughout the lifecycle.
Job DescriptionProvide legal support in tendering, including drafting, negotiations and internal approvals aligned to applicable tender processes
Support project execution in close cooperation with Sales, Project Management, Contract Management and the wider project team
Attend and contribute to monthly project reviews
Evaluate requests for tenders and provide input balancing legal, commercial and practical aspects, including risks and opportunities
Support the project team (primarily contract manager, project manager and project procurement) in executing compliant and profitable projects
Contribute to legal risk management activities
Provide day-to-day legal counselling, e.g., procurement matters, NDAs, integrity and Code of Conduct topics
Collaborate closely within the transmission legal team and with colleagues across Corporate Affairs
Requirements5-8 years of professional experience from a similar role and/or relevant experience from an established law firm
At least 3 years' experience in an in-house lawyer role within EPCI business
Strong construction law background, including experience with FIDIC contracts and other contract forms used in the Nordic countries
Business-minded, solutions-oriented and hands-on approach with an in-house legal mindset
Ability to make swift assessments and prioritize effectively
High integrity and a proactive way of working
Ability to provide clear, practical advice and manage multiple parallel matters
Nice to haveNSC 05 experience
