About the role
As well as working to support Volvo Cars consumer facing population, Commercial Operations Learning & Development (L&D) also works in support of our affiliate partners, as we recognise that L&D is a key contributor to success, securing that we serve customers in the right way and that we & our partners have the right skills, knowledge and behaviours in order to excel in-role.

This role is part of the Commercial Operations Learning and Development team and has broad strategic responsibility. You will be responsible for building and scaling a complete end-to-end commercial L&D lifecycle that supports long-term ambitions and short-term needs. A key deliverable in this role will be the implementation of training programs to enhance the competence of customer facing employees and partners and will cover:
• Onboarding training for new retail partners, securing success as a new retailer
• Onboarding training for retailer personnel
• Brand, sales and product training for current and future product
• Workshop trainings and processes
• To be effective as L&D Lead, you must be able to work with a broad SME network throughout the company to identify needs and measures of success, defining the scope of work and agreeing on a suitable time plan and execution.

What you will do
Key Responsibilities
• Drive the development and implementation of the L&D strategy for internal and partner training
• Ensure alignment with the wider Retail team to achieve required network competence standards
• Be accountable for the development of on-brand, consistent content that fulfil the needs identified in the roadmap
• Define the requirement for certification of key retailer roles
• Conduct training needs assessments, review the findings, administrate incoming training requests and identify learning initiatives to ensure a dynamic training roadmap
• Project manage the content creation and collaborate closely with our affiliate and 3rd party partners
• Have a clearly defined approach to training fulfilment, follow-up and measurement
• Be accountable for the delivery and maintenance of an effective learning ecosystem and the administration thereof
• Liaise with our partners in market to ensure that an effective and efficient approach to execution is in place for all retailers across the network

• Fluent in English, native in one of the local languages is a plus
