Duties and Responsibilities
As a substitute you maybe required to cover Learning Support Teachers, and on some occasions assist Classroom teachers in the capacity of Learning Assistants.
You should be able to coordinate with the Learning Support team, implement and adapt the lesson plan provided if needed.
Competencies & skills required
• Bachelor's degree. It is an advantage if you are a qualified teacher or have a teacher education in progress.
• Previous experience working with children with special needs, psychology, special education, speech therapy, cognitive behavior, social work, counselling, learning support etc is great.
• Solid level of written and spoken English as all communication at school is in English.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A pleasant and friendly personality.
• The ability to function effectively under pressure.
• Respect for GDPR laws and confidentiality
• Flexibility.
• Good references.
