On behalf of Delphi Automotive we are now searching for a Senior Systems Engineer to a leading role within the development programs and active safety. Delphi Automotive is a world leading supplier of Active Safety products including radar and vision sensors providing the possibilities for the vehicle to take active braking and steering decisions. In Gothenburg the focus is on complex Systems and software development within Active Safety projects and products to all European OEM:s.
What does it mean to work as a Lead Senior System Engineer at Delphi?
As a leader to a team of System Engineers you will support to plan and execute all System Engineering activities in a customer development project which for an example can contain following tasks:
Global product development of driver assistance systems in the field of Safety Electronics
Support of product development tasks with broad technical knowledge
As a member of the Delphi project team estimate, plan and manage Systems Engineering activities in alignment with the Delphi Product Development Process
Requirements analysis of customer specifications
Generation of product definition documentation and internal documentations
Test and calibration activities at system and vehicle level of the customer system
Technical interface to various internal departments and customer
Systems engineering work with Systems requirements, architecture, and design.
Be technically sound in understanding and working with radar technology
Lead and conduct internal meetings within radar technology area
Interpret requirements and develop best practice within project

Qualifications and personal qualities
To be successful we believe that you benefit from having documented automotive experience, preferably from safety systems, and knowledge in vision, radar, and/or fusion technologies as well as in the field of vehicle bus systems (CAN, LIN, MOST, FlexRay, and Ethernet) and Functional safety/ISO 26262.
Apart from having a relevant education, such as a master of Science E/D/IT/Z or equivalent, it is of importance that you, as a lead senior system engineer, have the ability and thrive to lead a team of Systems Engineers from eliciting customer requirements to the delivery of a final product to for customers. Meanwhile you keep a broad perspective and support your team to plan and prioritize as well as being a great communicator in a global team and to the customer.
