Our team currently consists of 20 engineers with different professional backgrounds, interests and history but with one common mindset: To develop our products and ourselves! What can we offer?
You will contribute to our world-class development of digital and connected on-board solutions for present and future transport solutions. You will work in an agile/lean way, where you will be a member of a high performing cross functional team that will work closely together with different stakeholders within AB Volvo to achieve our connectivity and infotainment business targets.
Main area of responsibility
You will be a part of the Vehicle Connectivity & Driver Environment group within the Electrical & Software Architecture Department. You will play an important role in securing the competitiveness of our vehicles for the Instrument Cluster area and your main responsibilities are:
Define that the ECU SW and HW fulfills the requirements from technical, quality, time and cost perspective. Discussions with internal and external stakeholders
Coordinate, document and release new ECU and ESW according to Volvo processes.Secure strategy compliance, quality and requirement fulfillment
Plan, implement and follow-up (in both short- and long-term) the development of ECU and ESW
Participate in the development and maintenance of roadmaps
Act as main contact and answer questions from different stakeholders and areas

Becoming part of our team is easy. You just need to be a skilled team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills and to be genuinely interested in product development.
BSc or MSc degree in electrical/software engineering or equivalent is highly valuable as well as previous experience of system and architectural design within Instrument Cluster and connectivity. Previous experience and/or network from GTT /VeCon and Service Market (Off board) are considered as meritorious.
Since you have good engineering judgment and priorities, you have the ability and interest to technically support and challenge colleagues in their work and their mindset. You like to share your passion for technical solutions and you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. As a person you are positive, you display driving force, have a structured way of working and are eager to learn new skills and driven by self-development.
