Speed Identity is growing as biometric security becomes increasingly crucial and we are now looking for a Key Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in driving the sales of biometric security solutions to government authorities across Europe. If you are a driven and strategic professional with a strong track record in complex B2B sales, and you are motivated by sales cycles in the regulated business area and building lasting client relationships, this could be the opportunity for you.
OUR PRODUCTSpeed Capture Solution is a line of products that are used for high-security live enrollment of biometrics. It integrates many hardware components required for the secure collection of biometric data from fingerprint, facial images to document verification. But it also integrates components to favor usability and accessibility such as lift, displays, indicator LEDs, or speakers. It is a highly operational system which comes with built-in software be able to do facial recognition, biometric quality assessment, or data processing.
YOU WILL As Key Account Manager, your primary focus will be on managing and expanding our customer base, particularly within government authorities in Europe. You will drive the entire sales process - from lead generation and stakeholder engagement to procurement, negotiation and closing deals. You will also be responsible for maintaining traceability of customer requirements and ensuring these are reflected in the solution. Together with your colleagues, including your sales counterpart, you will continuously explore new market opportunities and develop strong, strategic sales plans.
Your main responsibilities include:
Managing structured sales pipelines and bid processes
Engaging key stakeholders and guiding them from idea to signed contract
Handling incoming requests and proactively verifying the potential of leads
Building trust and relationships with both new and existing customers
Developing convincing sales strategies and ensuring profitability in offers
Navigating legislation, procurement processes and public tenders
Collaborating with partners and channel networks when needed
Overseeing long and complex sales cycles (1-3 years)
Identifying extensions for framework agreements and other business opportunities
YOU ARE
To succeed in this role, we believe you are a self-driven and ambitious individual with excellent communication skills and a structured mindset. You enjoy working both strategically and hands-on, and you are confident in leading long, consultative sales processes. You thrive in dynamic environments, and you're not afraid to dig deep to understand new markets and technologies.
We expect you to have:
Minimum five years of experience from complex B2B sales, preferably a mix of hardware and software
A strong track record of client engagement and trust-building
Proven ability to navigate client dialogues and close deals
Solid experience in negotiation and contractual management
Excellent project and stakeholder management skills
A general understanding of technology and ability to grasp customer needs
Experience from both large companies and scale-up/start-up environments
A relevant academic degree, preferably a Master of Science
Fluency in English. Fluent Swedish is a merit.

Experience from the biometrics industry is considered a strong merit. As a person, you are a natural relationship builder - competitive yet collaborative.
