As a Key Account Director you are primarily responsible for the management of a defined portfolio of Covidien Surgical Solutions Accounts customers, actively driving the Value/Volume growth and share of the Covidien business, as well as ensuring meticulous strategic planning and execution of activities, in line with the business plans. He/she will maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods and relevant internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction.

Surgical Solutions
The Surgical Solutions Global Business Unit is Covidien's largest unit in EMEA with annual revenues of US$1.1 billion. Covidien's Surgical Solutions business focuses on laparoscopy, stapling, meshes, sutures, biosynthetic, electrosurgical hardware and women's health products through a number of well established brands. Covidien's Surgical Solutions unit is a recognized leader in its field thanks to its focus on constant innovation, strong professional education and the close relationships with surgeons developed over many years.
Principle accountabilities
• As a Key Account Director you will lead the overall day to day management of the defined Key Accounts
• Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity
• Strategically plan and execute New Product Launches to agreed time plan and defined targets and KPI's Advise business on optimum lead times etc.
• Create, lead, and motivate cross functional teams, necessary to grow the business
• Prioritise time with Key Account Managers in order to develop Identified skills sets and competencies
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
• As a Key Account Director you need to have a strong track record in sales within the Medical/Surgical devices field
• National Account experience
Preferred requirements:
• As a Key Account Director it is preferred that you have previous management experience within the Medical/Surgical devices field
• A professional education or relevant degree
Other skills:
• Swedish language skills to business standard
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills
• Ability to build effective teams
• Timely decision
