Key Account Sales Manager
RF Micro Devices, a global leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance semiconductor components, is seeking an individual who can manage, execute and promote the sales and new business development of cellular products to a major European - based customer. Primary responsibilities will include:
The active participation in the development of account strategy including the identification and development of new business opportunities. Must be able to understand the customer's business strategy to effectively propose the best technology-based solutions.
Development, cultivation, and maintenance of EU based regional customer relationships to ensure effective communication for timely/accurate decision making, continued customer satisfaction and successful partnering - to a level differentiated from that of our competition.
Managing customer expectations to ensure RFMD's contractual, financial and customer satisfaction objectives are met.
Manage/exercise full capability of Technical EU-based support teams and facilities to increase opportunity success and optimize customer support satisfaction.
Monitoring the regional progress of all RFMD project activity with the customer against objectives; recommends improvements and/or alternative solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and successful product launch.
Provides information and knowledge of project progress to assist in the development of the global rolling sales forecasts.
Managing contacts between RFMD and the regional customer sites including technical updates, customer meetings, and customer visits.
The ability to travel throughout Europe and to the United States is required
Candidate requirements are as follows:
1) Must have a BS in electrical engineering and a Masters degree in business or technically related field.
2) A minimum of 6 - 8 years technical sales experience with some portion of that experience in account management in the wireless industry with a geographically diverse customer base
3) Must have relevant knowledge specific to RF front end and power amplifier technologies.
4) Experience working for an international semiconductor company.
5) Excellent communication, teamwork and customer relationship-building skills
Job location will be in Malmo, Sweden.
