Junior Solution Engineer
Upptec is growing rapidly and are now in need of a Junior Solution Engineer. This is a new role for Upptec, and you will be able to create and form this role together with Upptec. As a Junior Solution Engineer, you will act as the technical link between the customers, sales and the tech team. Your primary focus will be to support the sales team with technical expertise and optimize the technical onboarding progress, from sales to implementation. The role also involves working with the product team to identify technical solutions and help create Upptecs product roadmaps. Together with sales you will consult prospects and customers throughout the sales and integration phase to understand their challenges and propose technical solutions to address those challenges. This role will as well include some programming. You will primarily work from the office in Malmö, with the possibility to work from home.
Responsibilities as Junior Solution Engineer include, but are not limited to:
Lead the technical aspects of the sales process and answer technical questions from prospects and clients regarding technology, integration and features.
Support the product team with technical knowledge in the development of new products and features.
Act as an advisor for the customer, supporting their integration strategy and secure that the technical implementation is as smooth as possible.
Become a technical and functional internal expert of Upptecs technology and develop a deep understanding of their solution.
Create documentation and other material such as FAQ's and integration documentation for incoming customers.
Who are you?
Upptec needs someone who are able to understand and present both business benefits and technical advantages of their solution. To succeed in this role you must have a strong desire to set the vision, translating business objectives into enticing and actionable recommendations. As a Junior Solution Engineer, you will act as a trusted advisor to Upptecs clients while aiding the customer's security journey.
Preferably you do have some work experience of programming, maybe as a consult or as a project leader. Or maybe you've recently graduated from a relevant education, such as Computer technology or Systems Science etc.
Regardless, the most important experiences are the following:
Good technical knowledge and a good understanding of complex solutions.
Solid understanding of software development and architectural patterns.
Experience of working with customers or a strong desire to do so.
Excellent Swedish and English verbal and written communication skills to be able to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred skills and experience
Experience with technical integrations and APIs.
Experience of Saas-solutions.
Experience of the insurance industry.
