Powertrain Component Controls is committed to develop the electrical powertrain for the future, enabling Scania to stay on top as a premium brand within our industry and driving the shift towards a sustainable transport system. This will only be achieved if we together take on the challenges but more important - the opportunities - that comes with the technology shift we are currently going through.
What we do
We are responsible for the control systems for all our electrical powertrains including electrical machine- and gearbox controls. This means that we use Software as our main tool to reach the desired powertrain and vehicle properties.
Challenges ahead includes controlling complex mechatronic systems which needs to fulfill safety and cyber security requirements in the context of continuously delivering software to our connected vehicles. Our field of responsibility is growing and we will expand our teams moving forward.
Our future products and services have to be developed with a strong customer centric approach and in a collaborative environment where many of our challenges are solved cross-functional and together with partners and customers on a global level. Hence, we advocate an agile way of working where both the individual as well as the team will have a great impact on the end product.

Who you are

You have an academic degree within an engineering field.
We are looking for people with various levels of experience from software development, software testing and real time systems development.
