Our offer to you: This is a chance to take part of an important area within the Volvo Group. Our team of 8 persons (soon 9, with you) works at the Volvo Group IT Risk & Compliance department. Joining our skilled team you get an opportunity to work close together with passionate colleagues in a global context, which will develop you both on a personal and professional level. As a part of our team you play an important role in building our organization and you will be able to impact the development in the IT Risk & Compliance area. In this role you work in close collaboration with various stakeholders inside the Volvo Group as well as with Volvo Group partners and suppliers.
Our department has a central governing and overviewing role in the IT Risk & Compliance area. With a standpoint from protecting the Volvo Group's information assets in the IT environment - the department focuses on risk identification, evaluation and monitoring of the adherence to the IT Security requirements.

What will you do as a Senior IT Risk & Compliance Officer at Volvo Group IT?
Well, primarily you will develop and learn a lot. You will also contribute to creating the Volvo Group's future set up to secure that our information assets are well protected in the IT landscape. More than that your mission will be to monitor and measure the compliance status, highlight deficiencies and work proactively supporting the organization to solve the issues related to information security in the IT landscape.
In our scope for 2018 is the protection of personal data in focus, aligned with the upcoming EU regulation in the Data Privacy area (GDPR). Going forward also other initiatives are on the roadmap to secure that information assets are identified, protected and the level of compliance continuously monitored and reported.
You will play a key role in developing our existing framework and ways of working towards automation and efficiency in the IT compliance area. Our department is one of three departments within the IT Risk & Security unit. We work across the whole Volvo Group and report to the Volvo Group CIO.
Who are you?
Since we don't know you yet we probably don't have everything right when describing what we believe is your background. But we imagine that you have the following or similar background:
• Some years of experience working with assurance, compliance and audits in the IT area
• Understanding of information security best practices
• It is beneficial if you have experience of using GRC or equivalent tools with the purpose to drive quality and efficiency
• You will drive development and lead functional areas which involve communication on different levels and areas of the organization. Therefore it is important that you are highly skilled in communication, both verbal and written.
Your interest in emerging technologies as well as the will and the drive to contribute to the development of methods and tools in order to cope with future challenges in our area will be a great benefit to us. As you are professional as well as trustworthy with a high focus on quality, you will fit in perfect in our group.

Preferred location is Sweden (Gothenburg), but your will have colleagues in Poland (Wroclaw) and Belgium (Ghent) as well.
