We are looking for a senior IT Portfolio Manager to a Swedish company within the automotive industry in Gothenburg (Göteborg).
The Consultancy assignment starts this autumn and is ongoing for 6 months with possibilities of the assignment to be prolonged.

Work instructions
As a senior IT Portfolio Manager we see that you have experience to lead and ensure cross functional engagement in the overall portfolio governance, and develop the portfolio and framework to align with overall Business Plan process and valid financial time perspectives.
We see that you have experience of the overall strategic direction given by the Corporate Business Strategies and IT Strategies.
Activities overview
• Develop and maintain frameworks and mechanisms for Portfolio management based on business and Group IT needs.
• Lead and facilitate the Project Portfolio Prioritization
• Develop the Service Portfolio process in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Monitor process and sub-process adherence and strive for high quality output of Portfolio Mgmt processes
• Performance reporting on Portfolio deliveries
• Builds strong relationships with senior level business partners and Group IT Management
• Keeping an awareness of key strategies within the business functions as well as on corporate level to understand the needs for Portfolio Management requirements
• Ensures Portfolio mechanisms supports IT Strategy implementation for individual business function needs and for corporate strategic need.
• Reviews portfolio performance, including financial, quality, customer satisfaction, intended business value, and portfolio risk and determines or approves appropriate actions
• Presents portfolio performance and recommended actions with executive level business partners as target groups
• Identifies benchmarking opportunities and reviews recommendations for technology integration and utilization in business processes
Required skills
• 10 years of experience of IT Portfolio Management or in similar positions
• Has experience in the automotive industry
• Experience from working in agile projects
• You have the ability to understand business needs and to communicate with representatives from the business
• Fluent in both writing and speaking Swedish and English
• You are a team member but can also work independently when needed
• You appreciate to work in a constantly changing business and in a dynamic environment.
• You have good social competence and communication skills

• Consolidated Budget & Forecast
• Roadmaps on all Portfolio Management areas
Authority
• Authority to set portfolio processes
• Authority to recommend or challenge competencies and resources required to ensure expected Consolidated Portfolio transparency and quality
• Authority to question any decision taken within VCIT that creates a potential risk to the success of the delivery of agreed overall Portfolios frames, but also on Consolidated Portfolio transparency
