As IT Operations Manager you will be responsible for our IT operational team why we are looking for someone who understands how to lead both systems and functionality alongside people and culture.

Your future role
As IT Operational Manager you will have a key position. You will work with globally development, standardize, and drive IT infrastructure to a new common OneMed / Asker IT environment and ensure that our user support works. You lead the daily work, and your work ensures that we have an IT environment that is fit for purpose and continuously developed. You will successfully manage and coordinate systems and routines within the company's IT infrastructure in different countries in the Nordic region and Europe
Besides managing a well-functioning team of around 11 employees, IT Operational Manager should also maintain a good, positive, constructive working relationship with business managers on several levels and many different locations. You will also be to be responsible for sourcing contracts and other external IT partners.
We want to be in the forefront of adopting new technologies focused on a balance between security and ease-of-use. We use a hybrid landscape with on-prem environments and PaaS/SaaS services in cloud. Key technologies used are SQL server, Windows server, Azure, Azure AD Microsoft 365 etc. The group depends on transactional systems and handle up to 40.000 orders / day. A 1 hour stop in production is very costly due to delivery of critical products to our customers
In the role as IT Operations Manager, you need to provide excellent end-user and customer support as a key service for the IT organization in order to maintain a high level of belief in the capabilities of the IT team.
Who are you?
We are looking for you with a great technical understanding of complex IT environments. Most likely, you have previously worked as IT Operations Manager, a Team Leader or similar. You like to work in a role that is proactive, responsive, and thrives in a dynamic environment that is driven by continuous improvement. You have the ability to capture the needs and requirements of the business that you then translate into technical solutions and experience in supporting systems and processes in the service sector.
You have a strong analytical ability, problem-solving and collaborative ability, preferably with a pedagogical vein.
We also see that you have:
Strong customer focus and management skills and being successful in building relationships and teamwork
Strong drive and focus on results with assertiveness to enforce service processes
Assertiveness to escalate and solve service issues
Good understanding of technical systems and dependencies by working with business-critical systems
Good knowledge of project management and planning
Good knowledge of cloud services, preferably Microsoft Azure
Understanding of system development and knowledge in DevOps
As we are a Nordic organization, we see that you master Swedish and English both orally and in writing
