We are looking for an initiative and driven person to join our IP Infrastructure team. Telenor is rapidly heading towards the digital future and we are looking for people with a natural proactive drive who wants to make a difference.
What you 'll do
As our IP Engineer you will be a part of a team with deep and width knowledge within all areas of IP, Ethernet and WDM. The team works strategical and operational with analysis, design, procurement, proof-of-concept setups, trouble shooting as wells as other operational tasks covering our infrastructure.

Overall responsibilities:
* Define and present technical solutions and requirements
* Develop and maintain networks and services in order to secure a long-term financial value
* Contribute to the definition of roadmap for networks and platforms
* Keeping track of technical developments and trends in order to upskill the organization
* Act as a technical advisor in prioritized projects
* Create and maintain technical design rules and lead the technical point of view in the RFP/RFQ processes
* Contribute to documentations and presentations as well as the maintenance of network and systems.
Who you are
We're looking for candidates which have:
* Master/Bachelor of Science in Telecom or IT, or equivalent work experience
* A solid experience working with network technology at a service provider and/or vendor
* Deep knowledge within the areas of IP and Ethernet
* Experience of implementing IP-services on Linux platform
* Experience of designing, implementing and using provisioning system for IP network is an advantage
* Fluency in Swedish and English (both written and verbal).
