hela Sverige To fill a temporary vacancy, we are looking for an IP attorney/law graduate to join the SSAB IP Management team. Placement is preferably Stockholm.
About the position
The IP Management team serves the entire organization and interacts with all business divisions, marketing and legal departments, as well as with external IP attorneys and other service providers throughout the world to manage, coordinate and assist in all IP related issues, including IPR strategy, protection, enforcement and commercialization.
The team's IP attorney's main responsibilities cover strategic and legal issues related to all kinds of registered and unregistered IP, including trademarks, domain names, patents, designs, know-how, trade secrets etc., and works closely with the other members of the team and business divisions.
In addition to being the team's legal expert, the IP attorney serves as the team's Trademark Specialist and is responsible for the strategic management of the trademark and domain name portfolios, including coordination of filings of applications, renewals, oppositions and enforcement.
As such, the person we are looking for is preferably someone with experience and/or a special interest in trademark law and online brand protection. An important part of this role is also to continuously support, guide and train the Marketing department in trademark related issues.
The temporary position is for one year with start in May 2017.

Your qualifications
• University degree in Law
• Excellent English skills
• Experience and/or genuine interest in intellectual property, marketing and advertising law
• Experience in IP contract negotiation, drafting and management
• Service minded, good communication skills, organized, ability to manage multiple responsibilities, ability to work well independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting, proven ability to identify problems and implement solutions in a proactive manner.
