At Scania Research & Development, within the Connected & Autonomous Systems unit, we work with the future's sustainable transport system and the connected vehicle. Our responsibility is to ensure that data from the vehicles can be used by the various connected services, to generate as much customer value as possible. You get a key role in shaping tomorrow's connected transport system.
Our group are working with different IOT applications in the trucks, we stream the data to our IT systems where we clean and enrich the data and send it to other teams in Scania for end user applications.
We give you an environment that apply agile working methods and the teams are responsible for their services all the way from requirement handling, development, quality assurance to production.
Your work assignment:
If you want to be part of our autonomous transport system journey focusing on the IOT and likes to work in an learning environment with great colleagues.
We are looking for a candidate with following experience:
• Competence in Embedded development
• Competence in C++
• Experience in Data Streaming
• Experience in in Amazon Web Services and Python
• Strong thinking in software modularization and code quality
• Experience from connected vehicles and vehicle communication networks (CAN) is meritorious.
Your Profile
As a person, you are a team player that likes to share your knowledge. You are communicative & goal-oriented. You are technically driven and like to be at the forefront and have extended experience in deploying and operation of production systems.
You have an academic education at university level in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent work experience. You communicate fluently in English in both speech and writing.
