We are looking for the leader of our team of IT specialists who provide to the factory the IT equipment and infrastructure solutions that we need to perform and transform. Your team has a wide range of competences and responsibilities. To name a few, they manage the full life cycle of our industrial IT-equipment, supporting the factory with Time Critical Support, they secure efficient problem management and not least drive changes that support the digital transformation of our plant. They help our 3000 great employees to deliver the best trucks for our customers!

To be successful and provide the best IT-support to the factory, we work in a network and gather competences from different parts of the organization, both in GTO, Volvo Group Real Estate and Group Digital & IT.
We are in the factory and contribute every day to the plant's objectives. Our ambition is to solve problems and adds business value through IT and effective use of existing applications, new technologies and innovation. In short, we work with support, incident and ITIL problem management, continuous improvement, projects and requests management from our users. Digitalization is part of the factory's strategy as an enabler to our performance. This is an excellent opportunity for us to develop competences, learn about new technologies and be part of innovative projects.
Your role belongs line wise to the Volvo Group Digital & IT, IOS Onsite organization and you are line manager of a team composed of 6 Volvo employees & 5 external consultants. You are part of the Site D&IT management team led by the D&IT director in Tuve and part of the managers community of the plant.

Skills and experience? Ideally, you have most of this, maybe less, and probably something more:
Proven ability to organize and prioritize, so you have time to lead the team
Knowledge of the LEAN philosophy / VPS, problem solving and continuous improvement
Experience in IT and Digitalization
Familiar with the ITIL foundational concepts
Experience in Manufacturing and Logistics is beneficial
Have been involved in business change activities and value to be transparent
Leadership in a cross functional and cross organizational environments
Great experience from collaboration that drives results
