Risk Analyst
Position
A position at Treasury and Risk & Business Control offers you the opportunity to be part of a fast moving finance community. You will get the chance to work with a team of professional people, were everybody's expertize and knowhow is utilized to accomplish the common goals.
The position will allow you to get an insight into a broad range of the global Treasury activities within the Volvo Group, all with the aim to secure payment capability and proactively manage financial risks. You will work closely together with the other members of the team as well as cross functionally with other departments in Gothenburg, Singapore, China, US, and Brazil.
The Risk & Business Control responsibilities include measuring, analyzing and reporting financial credit-, market and liquidity risk for the Volvo Group and Treasury. We are the operational owner of the Treasury system and responsible for accurate risk- and performance reporting for all Treasury activities globally.
In our work we develop, manage and secure an efficient internal- and business control process within the Treasury Group. Our task is to provide proactive and comprehensive analyses with the aim to secure compliance and facilitate more qualitative business decisions.
We are looking for a team player, someone who is willing to learn but also contribute in developing our processes and analyses. We think that you are a person with an eye for details as well as for the overall picture - and with a dedication to delivering on the responsibilities of the Group.
Main responsibilities will include:
• Daily and monthly risk-, result-, -performance reporting and analyses
• Operational support to a global organization including transaction process and system set-up
• Ensure compliance with special focus on internal control process and execution
Travel
Occasional travelling may be required outside of the international assignment.

Overall requirements:
• Master of Finance/Economics/Business Administration or equivalent
• Valid work-permit for applied country if not citizen
• Excellent spoken and written English (Additional languages are given merit)
• Maximum of two years previous work-experience prior to or after graduation
• International experience is meriting

Strong interest in financial markets and financial risks
Good analytical skills
Attention to details and administrative skills
Meriting
Strong excel and Microsoft Office competence
Financial mathematics and/or risk analysis qualifications
Experience from banking, finance sector, or controlling is meriting.
