Essity is looking for an experienced International Business Project Manager, to work within our Global Hygiene Supply (GHS) division. GHS contributes in making Essity a highly successful global hygiene company by having the safest, most efficient and lowest cost product supply base.
Within the GHS organization, the Global Project Management Office's purpose is to:
Allocate and provide highly qualified Project Managers in strategically important projects, with:
high complexity
a major business impact
significant Capex spending
a major supply chain impact
To support the above we are looking for suitably qualified and experienced International Business Project Manager (IBPM) reporting to the Director Project Management Office. The IBPM is responsible for planning and managing of strategically important, long term/international projects (for example innovation-, capacity/growth- and launch/roll-out projects) that will significantly affect the whole organization. The role is responsible for managing projects in line with predefined budget and timeframes.
Main Tasks
Plan and execute projects according to agreed and established Project Management standards
Secure required resources to deliver on what's agreed in the project plan
Lead cross-functional teams with a total task approach based on excellence in leadership and competence plus experience of Project tools
Establish efficient steering functions in projects
Ensure effective communication to stakeholders
Ensure use and spreading of best practice in project management
Develop and standardize processes and IT tools in the area of Project Management
Key Competencies
In-depth experience (5 years) in leading international and multi-site projects/programs
Experience from Product Supply
Strong educational background (Engineering, MBA), or equivalent with relevant practice. PMI Certification (PMP) a plus
Take a broad stakeholder perspective and value diversity
Drive continuous improvements and demonstrate a sense of urgency
Able to turn strategy into actions and deliver results
Build trust in an open environment by involving others and building effective teams
Take strong ownership to passionately and ambitiously deliver on or beyond agreed goals and aspirations
Strong leadership skills including having high interpersonal, communication and networking skills - stakeholder management
Have a profound understanding of the business, with knowledge of relevant financial principles and KPIs.
Fluent English.
Additional Information
This position is based in Gothenburg but involves international travel (approximately 25%-50%)
