As the Internal Communications Specialist you work to ensure Itiviti employees are kept informed and motivated. You work closely with senior executives and teams to establish organizational messages and keep teammates informed of developments.
As Internal Communications Specialist, you will be an important member of the global marketing team and play a key role in the execution of the company's internal communications consistent with Itiviti Group's market positioning for its leading products and services within the financial industry. This is a full-time employment reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer of Itiviti Group based in Stockholm.
Responsibilities
Establish a global internal communications strategy in conjunction with the Chief Marketing Officer.
Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders globally.
Manage the internal communications calendar and timeline to ensure timely distribution of internal communications.
Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as a staff intranet, monthly newsletters or regular email bulletin. You may also be required to work on the layout of content.
Storyboard or translate ideas to the digital and creative members of the global marketing team.
Use social media and other digital channels to communicate with staff internally.
Deliver presentations at organizational events, such as monthly and quarterly company meetings.
Draft messages or scripts from senior executives for presentation to employees in written or spoken form.
Align internal and external communication messages.
Ensure internal communications messages and vocabulary are consistent across all mediums and for different departments of the organization.
Devise ways of collecting frequent staff feedback on communication and use insights to modify and develop communications.
Handle the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organizational perception and reputation.
Your Profile
Degree in journalism, communications, public relations or marketing is an advantage. Experience within, or genuine interest of the financial industry.
5+ years of proven working experience in a communications team, especially internal communications.
Excellent English verbal, writing, editing and proofreading skills as well as the journalistic ability to source stories from employees.
Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills in order to work with the global marketing team, human resources as well as key stakeholders.
Confidence to deal with senior executives and explain communication techniques to them.
Proactive nature to devise new communication strategies. Familiarity with information technology, especially digital. Video means of communication are considered as an additional qualification.
