Who you are
About the jobThe Internal Communications Manager will participate in the development of Alfa Laval's internal communications. In this cross-functional role you will work for Group Internal Communications, with focus on Operations. Alfa Laval works with creating engagement among all our employees to drive performance, and you will be an important player in this task. You will be a member of the Operations Management Team, which demands that you work very closely with our business. You will have the opportunity to work with different tasks, from strategic to operational.
The main tasks include

Drive & develop internal communications for Alfa Laval, with focus on Operations.
Act as communications advisor for Operations' managers.
Be the driver of the development of internal communication channels.
Analyze needs and demands; plan, implement and evaluate internal communication activities.
Hands-on planning and execution such as messaging, writing and editing in English.
Participate in and manage critical change projects.


You are part of the Group Internal Communication team and report to the Head of Group Internal Communications. You also have a dotted line to the President of Operations.
Who are you?The ideal candidate is a senior communications professional with a Bachelors or Masters degree in Communications, Journalism or the equivalent.
You also have:

5-7 years working experience from planning and executing internal communications, ideally in a multi-cultural environment.
Experience from coaching, supporting and training managers in their roles as communicators.
Experience from working in a management team
Expert-level communication skills.
Expert-level English.
Very strong editorial skills.
Experience in change and crisis-communications.


You are a team player and self-driven. You enjoy taking an active role in operational work such as messaging, writing and editing. You are business oriented with a cross-cultural understanding and have a natural capacity for influencing and building strong networks. The position is based in Lund, Sweden.
