PURCHASING CONTROLLER
Within the Global Purchasing team, the Business Control department is responsible for Controlling, Cost Engineering, Supply Chain optimization and Supply Chain Financing. The Controlling function is in charge of providing a financial planning system supporting the matrix organization different units. This includes financial reporting, target setting and preparation of business cases for supplier selection. The scope for this function is global and covers North America, France, Sweden and Asia.
The Purchasing Business Control department is now looking for a :
Global Purchasing Controller
For this position we expect someone with a business oriented mindset who can create and improve financial processes from a holistic perspective.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Manage the Financial planning process within the Global Purchasing executive team. This will require developing best practices for financial reporting, financial analysis and business reporting,
• Lead the network of site Purchasing Controllers within each division in order to ensure consistency of financial reporting and create synergies by eliminating non-value added operations.
• Oversee standard cost calculations and target setting for each business line together with the Commodity Controller
• Steer vendor tool investment process reengineering
• Ensure business processes and IT systems allow timely and accurate financial reporting
• Represent Purchasing in several cross-functional working groups within the company and other units.
LOCATION
• Gothenburg but frequent travelling is required to France and United States.
APPLICANT PROFILE
• Ideally graduated from a Business School with a specialization in Management Accounting with at least 5 years minimum experience in a multinational group. Audit experience a plus.
• Able to work effectively in a multinational, multicultural and matrix organization
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in both swedish and english
• Demonstrated leadership and change management skills
• Very good command of Excel, Access, SAP/R3 and reporting tools is required
