Global Infrastructure Management Storage team is looking for a Storage technical specialist who will work with development of storage solutions within the Backup area. We develop solutions for all Volvo IT sites globally and the position gives opportunity to work in global networks together with people around the world.
Job Description:
You will work globally in the Infrastructure Management Team for backup products with the Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) product and maintain TSM according to standard procedures. You will have support and solve incoming requests, build cost effective TSM backup solutions and you will work as a TSM responsible deputy. You will also participate in projects in the backup area.
Qualifications:
For this position, we are seeking a technician that has a wide knowledge in the storage backup area and have knowledge in TSM. If you have experience of other backup products than TSM, that is an advantage.
For this position we are looking for a candidate who has a proactive mindset and can plan his/her future work. You need to be a driven and initiative person and give the costumer high quality service. You have to have a structured approach and good documentation knowledge.
For this position, we need a person with:
• Strong customer focus
• Experience in the Windows platform or equal
• Ability to work in a global, multi-cultural organization
• Well organized, with an eye for details
• Very good communication and documentation skills
• Very good ability to keep many tasks in the loop
• Very good ability to collaborate in teams as well as being an independent driving force
• Good written and spoken English and Swedish are requirements
