PRESENTATION
Ericsson is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer Linux/Unix to the Labnet Solution team.
The Labnet unit is responsible for the provisioning of test environments and related services to Ericssons internal and external customers. The region Stockholm South is responsible for providing test environments and related services within the Älvsjö and Telefonplan area. The job is based in Älvsjö.
Publiceringsdatum2007-09-17ArbetsuppgifterYou will manage the installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of our lab network, network equipment, and Linux/Unix/Windows-clients/servers.
The role also involves handling the maintenance and improvement of our Ericsson Distributed Network connection node, and dealing with software, licenses and asset management for the equipment.
The role involves investigating and suggesting network solutions for customers. In your role you will also be a point of contact for other Ericsson units and groups.
ErfarenhetCandidates must be educated to senior high school level with at least three years of work experience. If educated to college level, a shorter period of work experience is required.
Applicants must have:
• Experience of working with Linux, Unix and Windows
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Experience of working with TCP/IP, Ethernet switching, network behaviors,
network security, network management, configuration and troubleshooting
• Experience of Microsoft Server and/or Cluster
• The ability to lead and drive complex technical problems to their solution
• Good communication and documentation skills
• A flexible, methodical and service-minded approach to their work
