Infrastructure Engineer at Sellpy
In this role, you will gain broad exposure to all aspects of Sellpy's technical infrastructure. Reporting directly to our CTO, you will work closely with them on a variety of tasks, ranging from cloud orchestration to network design. This is a demanding position that requires the ability to think and work both strategically and operationally. You will take ownership of our infrastructure, growing with the role and responsibility to optimise our cloud environment for performant and cost-effective scalability.
In short, you will
Design, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions with AWS services like CloudFront, Lambda, EC2 and S3.
Manage cloud services (e.g., AWS and GCP).
Optimise our MongoDB database to enable efficient querying at scale.
Manage on-premise networking hardware.
Automate infrastructure deployment using tools like AWS CDK and CI/CD pipelines.
Monitor system performance, ensuring reliability, uptime, and security.
Collaborate with our Engineering teams to optimise infrastructure for applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues promptly.
Ensure infrastructure adheres to compliance and best practices.
Stay updated with new tools and technologies to improve infrastructure efficiency.
Requirements
At least 2 years of work experience in a similar role.
Confidence to stand on your own feet, as you will take ownership of your tasks and drive them independently.
The curiosity to explore unknown areas that you haven't worked with before.
Great communication skills in English.
We'd be impressed if you have
A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or engineering.
Experience working with AWS-services like CloudFront, S3 and EC2
Experience with MongoDB or SQL databases
Experience with logging and health monitoring solutions
Worked in a fast-growing, product-focused startup environment

Location
You're welcome to work from our new office at Medborgarplatsen in Stockholm and from home. Ideally, we'd love to see you in the office regularly, as it helps create a positive and productive environment.
