Key to our ability to optimally advance the AZ pipeline is the close relationship between Global Portfolio & Project Management (GPPM), the R&D Units, the Commercial Business Units and Global Finance organisation. To foster that relationship we need to ensure good practices are followed and excellence in information management in drug projects and portfolio across the Therapeutic areas and stages of drug development.
We are now looking for an Information Management Lead, to join our small but great team, reporting to the Senior Director BioPharmaceuticals Business Planning & Operations (GPPM).
What you 'll do:
Our team provides close strategic and operational support to the leadership of all areas in pipeline management and decision-making, business cycle management and portfolio operations to ensure both the creation of optimal long- and mid-term strategy. You will work in close collaboration with our Project Managers and Drug Project Teams supporting knowledge sharing and best practice.
Together with the GPPM Leadership team you will develop and implement good ways of working that drives phenomenal information management to our colleagues in the drug development organisations.
We believe you to be a person that stays at the forefront of the latest technology in information management and who eagerly want to share and introduce these new technologies to our project teams alongside other updates on tools and good practices etc. Excellent content creation and Information sharing on a broad front across the business is a key to be successful in this role. In order to ensure that all our practices are compliant, fit for purpose and secure you will actively also work with our business partners such as IT, Legal and regulatory.
This is an outstanding role for building relationships across the business and to better understand the drug development value chain!
Essential Requirements:
* Educated to a degree level within science and/or relevant working experience
* Drug Development knowledge
* Direct experience supporting drug development teams.
* Well-developed customer service skills with understanding of how to adapt to the needs of a variety of customer needs.
* High level of skill and experience with information management tools such as SharePoint On-Line (SPOL), Box, and OneNote.
* Experience in developing and leading peer to peer training and producing guidance material.
* Experience from leading and driving change in organisations
* Fluent in English
Desirable:
* A high degree of personal credibility when interacting with organisations internal and external to AZ.
* Experience from project management
