The job:
The Industrial Sales Manager (ISM) is overall responsible for developing the overall FOSS business and sales of the FOSS solutions in the segments. The Industrial Sales Manager will report to the General Manager of FOSS Nordic.
One of the most important activities in your job is to visit customers - so you should expect to spend a lot of time in your car - visiting customers all over Sweden and Denmark. Your base will be your home office - preferably in South of Sweden or Denmark.

Major Position Accountabilities:
AsISM, you will be responsible for sales of Reference Methods /Analytical Solutions to Laboratories in both Denmark and Sweden, as well as sales of Reference Methods /Analytical Solutions to the Feed and Meat segment in Sweden
You will be responsibility for achieving sales budget and set Customer satisfaction targets including establishing an annual business plan/execution plan for your own segments - incl. Key Account planning.

Furthermore, you'll be :
• Maintaining CRM/Pipeline records updated and accurate records with respect to prospects, pre-implementation planning/proposal preparation, sales calls, quotations, pricing, etc., using CRM (SAP) system
• Providing input to marketing/sales with respect to competition and competitive pricing including products, applications, new product development etc.
• Participating in trade shows
Some travel activity will be required - primarily in Denmark & Sweden, therefore a valid driving license is required.

Position Requirements and Specifications:
The ideal candidate comes with a degree in Science preferably with a commercial add-on.
You have 3 - 5 years experience in a sales role in a business-to-business capital equipment sales environment; experience in driving revenue in technical products/instruments strongly preferred;

It is important, that you have a proven strong track record of meeting/exceeding sales revenue projections in capital equipment sales as well as proven experience in cross-selling and Value Based Selling (benefits and profit enhancement proposition)

Business language in FOSS in English, and since you will be in close dialogue with FOSS Nordic colleagues as well as with the global organisation we expect you to be able to communicate in spoken and written English. You will work primarily in Denmark and Sweden; therefore we require that you furthermore also are able to communicate minimum one of the Scandinavian languages.

You must be action oriented with a proven ability to achieve results and have a strong customer focus with ability to effectively interact with current and prospective customers to close sales or provide customer care. We expect you to have a high degree of integrity and professionalism and the ability to work with a variety of personalities and styles.

You should be very good at building strong relationships both internally and externally and act as a self-starter and multi-tasker, self-motivated, with a capacity to perform in a fast paced environment. Furthermore, you must have effective written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
