Sustainability is high priority for our organization! The Indirect Sourcing Leader Logistics Innovation & Sustainability is an exciting new position, giving you the opportunity to work towards becoming CO2 neutral within sourcing and logistics here at Cytiva. You will work in cross-functional and multi-cultural teams around the globe.
What you'll do
Logistics will be your main focus in this role, but you will also be working with incorporating sustainability initiatives into the overall indirect sourcing organization.
Be the sourcing enabling support on the implementation and commercialization of Cytiva's sustainability initiatives and idea generation for the logistics commodity, being e a key partner to the business on logistics sourcing activities related to Sustainability initiatives, Environmental & Compliance related matters.
Collaborate with Cytiva's logistics suppliers and internal business partners and make sure governance practices and compliance are followed and improved as needed. You work with the road map towards sustainability at Cytiva, aligning timelines with our logistics suppliers' environmental initiatives and solutions.
Ensure sustainable procurement strategy is implemented throughout the logistics sourcing organization
Support and further develop our existing practices and procedures for engaging with key suppliers for responsible procurement and evaluate sustainability performance with reference to international standards and frameworks
Roll out ECOVADIS - a rating platform to assess corporate social responsibility and sustainable procurement. Solutions include risk monitoring, audit management and sustainability.
Who you are
MCIPS or equivalent Professional Procurement qualification, or BA or BS degree or other advanced degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Economics or equivalent.
Previous experience in Sourcing, Sustainability or Logistics Operations.
Strong Project management & process improvement skills., preferably having lead simplification projects.
Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to influence and articulate goals both internally and externally.
Proficient English, both verbal and written. A 2nd language is beneficial.
Experience with purchasing tools such as I-Supplier, HICX, CONGA, I-Procurement etc.
Even though this is a global role, you will ideally be located in the EMEA region for this position. Your manager is based in Uppsala, Sweden.
