Scania Logistics ambition is to become the leader within sustainable Logistics. We are now facing an exciting and important development step towards realizing this ambition. A newly developed cross functional sustainability working group has been established with the goal to sharpen our sustainability targets and developing a common sustainability strategy, positioning us as the industry showcase. We at inbound logistics is now looking for a sustainability manager who can be a part of this journey together with colleagues from other logistic organizations and to take the responsibility for our organisations sustainability development.

Job Description
You will have a central role in the development of Scania Logistics sustainability strategy and the responsibility of setting the sustainability agenda within Inbound Logistics.

Your main tasks will be:

Develop and maintain Inbound Logistics sustainability roadmap. This includes developing and implementing strategies and processes to ensure that overall sustainability targets are met.
Responsible to coordinate and initiate sustainability initiatives within inbound logistics.
Participate and manage sustainability related projects within Scania Logistics and be Inbound Logistics representative in Scania Logistics sustainability working group
Reporting of sustainability KPIs, analysis and explanation of changes
Act as sustainability spokesperson for Inbound Logistics both internally and externally, representing Scania with suppliers, industry associations etc. and engaging employees.

Are you the one we're looking for?

You have a master of science or similar with experience from logistics
Relevant background could be logistics development, industrial engineering, project management or purchasing
You need to be communicative, structured, committed and energetic
You feel Passion for social and environmental issues
You are fluent in English both written and verbally

We want you to have a good knowledge and interest for logistics and material flows.
Experience and interest within IT and project management is extra qualifying for this position.
