hela Sverige Role Summary/Purpose:
In this exciting new role you will have the main responsibility for our service delivery to the New Karolinska Hospital's Tracercenter, consisting of two GE Cyclotrons, numerous synthesis modules, hot cells, QC-equipment and LIMS. As the In-house Engineer/Chemist, and primary GE representative on site, you'll be performing corrective and preventive maintenance on all equipment, maintaining on-site spare part stock, managing quality checks and following up on overall performance, e.g. uptime.
Essential Responsibilities:
You are expected to actively develop and maintain strong relationships with the customer's representatives while ensuring all services are performed cost efficiently. You will also be part of the initial installation and ramp up of the site including validation - a unique opportunity to influence and grow.
Participate in installation planning, installation, calibration and validation of site IB.
Troubleshooting and corrective maintenance on site IB.
Perform Preventive Maintenance and updates on site IB.
Escalate problems and issues internally to ensure proper documentation and timely resolution.
Manage on-site spare-parts stock and reporting of service delivery metrics.
Assist to train others when necessary, both internally and externally.
Identify potential upsell opportunities or improvements and communicate those in the organization.
If required assist on other sites in the Nordic region.
Act as GE site leader for Radiopharmacy and work closely with the GE NKS Site leader.
Qualifications/Requirements:
University degree or equivalent within relevant area of knowledge.
Strong relevant experience from working in a Radiopharmaceutical environment in a technical or chemical capacity, preferably as a cyclotron or chemical engineer.
Technical and analytical capability.
Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written.
Computer skills (MS Office, Linux).
Driver?s License (B).
Socially skilled with ability to build trust and collaborate in an academic environment.
EU work permit.
Desired Characteristics:
Experience from repairing mechanical or electronic equipment, preferably medical imaging equipment such as X-Ray or Nuclear Medicine systems.
Experience from validating Radiopharmaceutical processes and productions.
Knowledge of developing Radiopharmaceutical tracers and/or targets.
Ambitious and willing to travel when required.
Business Acumen.
