Dina arbetsuppgifterThe logistic organization (DC) in Sweden are searching for a person that would like to be responsible for and working with the company's customs administration. You will work in an international environment characterized by high tempo and daily challenges.
Impex
Impex (Import/Export) department is located at the DC in Eskilstuna. Eight people currently work at the impex department. They are responsible for all administrative processes related to the import and export of goods to and from H&M Sweden.
Main Business Goals
Operate and develop the import processes with optimized efficiency, accuracy and quality for all brands and channels within the Group. Strategically develop the import setup in order to cope with the ongoing expansion and business development in the sales country.
DC
The distribution centre in Eskilstuna is responsible for all distribution of goods to the H&M stores in Sweden. Today the DC serves 143 stores with new merchandise and replenishment of sold goods. 2013 DC sent out approximately 67 million articles. Approximately 350 people are employed at the DC.
Role Description
In the role as Groupleader of the Impex, you have the overall responsibility to lead, plan, delegate and organize the daily work of the group according to H&M's values. The Groupleader has responsibility for personnel and budget.
We are looking for a person who has leadership experience and has worked with qualified customs administration. You have good knowledge of rules and laws. How to correctly treat and communicate with authorities (customs) is one of your key competence. You must have documented good computer skills and you are experienced working in the Microsoft Office program. Experience of working in SAP is an advantage.
Fluency in Swedish and English, both writing and communicating, is a must. Accustomed to be responsible for negotiations is an advantage.
As a person you are flexible, accurate and structured. You are a reliable person with a good ability to solve problems. You have good communication skills. As a leader of the Impex you like to work in a high tempo. You are motivated, energetic with high social skills.

• Arrange customs clearance
• Communicate with H&M Production offices to ensure high document quality
• Review contracts and performance of service providers
• Approve freight and service invoices for accuracy
• Arrange re-exports
• Communicate with service providers and authorities
• Cargo planning with other departments in DC
• Deal with all import related issues, e.g. trace missing cargo, handle transport insurance cases
• Recruit and evaluate import staff
• Speaking partner for customs audits
• Keep statistics
