IKEA IT is looking for an IT Architect for Supplying
The Supplying Process is making the IKEA range available for our customers by buying, producing and distributing it to the lowest cost possible, high customer experienced quality and under good social as well as environmental conditions. The IT architect team is a team of experienced and highly motivated people, providing the IKEA Supply Chain with architecture steering and support.
Assignment
Working as IT architect at Supplying gives you a fantastic opportunity to be an enabler of realising IKEA business opportunities. As an Architect you are responsible for providing architecture steering and support, ensuring architectural conformance and efficient delivery.
You work together with many different stakeholders within IKEA to secure the architecture of the existing application landscape and the compliance of all changes to it. Your main contacts are the IT Demand solution teams and the IT Delivery Service mgmt teams and you act as the link into the enterprise architecture. At the same time your home base will be the Supplying architecture team and the architecture community at IKEA IT.
Your main task is to design the future application landscape and you do this by providing IT Architecture Blueprints that steer the architecture of projects. You are responsible for the architecture and lead the architecture activities within your domain. Your platform area responsibility will be Supply Chain Planning. You govern that the design of the solutions conforms to the architecture and participate in the life cycle management of products and services.
Is this the right challenge for you?
To be a successful in the role we would like you to have several years experience from
• Architectural work using architecture methods and modeling techniques
• Large scale implementations and driving architectural work for at large Architectural area
• System integration
• Driving the architecture discipline in projects and pre-studies
Having a strong drive and confidence is main ingredients to succeed in this role. You should also have excellent leadership and communication skills. Of course all your work is done with a service mindset and deliveries in focus.
