hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Internationella Engelska Skolan i Jönköping i Jönköping IES Jönköping is looking for a 'jack of all trades' ICT person to run our local network, teach students and staff computer skills, run a webpage programming club after school and do general admin duties as required.
Good candidates will be able to lead lessons in both Swedish and English (half of our staff comes from Canada, USA and England) and be comfortable with technical language use.
Other duties besides general ICT work at the school may also include general duties such as administration assistance and light caretaker work.
The core philosophy of the school can be summarised by three points: To Master the English Language, to have High Academic Expectations and to study in a Calm and Safe Learning Environment. We work hard to make these ideals a reality in our school. We have clear rules and expectations of our students; all teachers follow up on student behaviour. We use the concept of 'tough love', which means helping students to realise their full potential by making each lesson and activity challenging and by providing regular homework and assessment. Half of the subjects are taught in English by native English speakers and half taught in Swedish by native Swedish speakers. We follow all school laws as set out by Skolverket.
Being a positive and cooperative team player is a must. In addition to teaching meaningful and enjoyable lessons, all staff members are expected to be well organized, take pride in their duties and be good role models for our students.
